Lovie Smith who is a former American football player was previously the Head Coach of Chicago Bears from the year 2004 until 2012 as well as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2014 till 2015. He has also been to the Super Bowl for twice as the defensive coordinator for 2001 St. Louis Rams and as the Head Coach for Bears in 2006. He is the native of Gladewater, Texas, United States. He came into this world on 8th May of the year 1958 which has now made him reach at the age of 57. He was raised up in Big Sandy, Texas.

Smith started his coaching career as linebacker coach for Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After spending the five years with the team, he was hired as defensive coordinator of St. Louis Rams under the head coach Mike Martz. After that, he was hired by the Chicago Bears as the head coach in the year 2004 after the dismissal of Dick Jauron. Later, on 1st December 2014, he again became the head coach of Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Recently, on 6th January of the year 2016, Lovie was fired by Buccaneers after he posted the record of 8-24 in his two years.

Moving on to his personal life biography, Lovie has already got married. He is married to his wife named MaryAnne Smith. The couple also has three children together with each other. He is an active supporter of American Diabetes Association. Additionally, he also donates the ten tickets to every Bears’game to the children who are suffering from the diabetes.
