A Canadian actress Lolita Davidovich is mostly known for her break through title role in 1989 movie known as Blase as Blaze starr for which she received the nomination for Chicago Film critics Association Award. She also had the starring roles in the movies which also include Raising Cain, Cobb, Intersection, Leap of Faith, Jungle 2 Jungle, Mystery, Alaska, Gods and Monsters and Play It to the Bone. Lolita is the native of London, Ontario, Canada. She came into this world on 15th July of the year 1961 which has now made her reach at the age of 54. She has been active in this field since 1983 and from that time onward, she has garnered huge number of fans following and succeed a lot.

Lolita is the daughter of the immigrants from Yugoslavia. Her mother was from Slovenia whereas her father was from Belgrade which is the capital of Serbia. During her early years, Lolita only spoke Serbian. She went to get her education from the Herbert Berghof Studio located in New York.

At the beginning of her career, Lolita started to play small parts on TV and films. She first received notice by co-starring in a comedy drama movie called Blaze with Paul Newman in 1989. For her role in the Blaze, she beat out other 600 actresses. Later, she starred along with John Malkovich and Andie MacDowell in the 1991 film The Object of Beauty. After that, she earned a critical acclaim for her leading performance in HBO drama known as Prison Stories: women on the inside as an inmate.

Lolita then went on to leading roles in the movies such as 1993 thriller Raising Cain which was directed by Brian De Palma and a drama Leap of Faith co-starring Liam Neeson and Steve Martin. In addition to that, Lolita also played as the love interest of Richard Gere in 1994 drama Intersection. After she starred for the director Ron Shelter in Blaze, she was also featured in films such as Cobb, Dark Blue, Play It to the Bone and Hollywood Homicide.

In 2000s, she had supporting roles on both the film and TV. She made her appearance in several of the episodes of first season of Showtime Lesbian-themed drama series The L Word in which she played the role as Francesca Wolff. She has also voiced Jester in a video game adventure Chronomaster which also includes voices of the actors Brent Spiner and Ron Perlman. Her other movie and TV credits include The Big Town, JFK, Recruits, Class, Snow in August, Touched, Cobb and more.

Prior to that, Lolita had also received Tokyo International Film Festival Award for the Best Actress for playing in Younger and Younger and during her roles in movies For Better or Worse, Boiling Point, Now and Then, Gods and Monsters, Jungle 2 Jungle and Mystery, Alaska. Lolita is married to her husband named Ron Shelton who is a writer and a director. She also has two children together with her husband.
