Lady Colin Campbell is a Jamaican born writer, socialite as well as TV and radio personality. She is the native of St Andrew, Jamaica. She came into this world on 17th August of the year 1949 which has now made her at the age of 66. Although she is known by the name Lady Colin Campbell, as a child, she was named as George William Ziadye by her parents. In addition to that, she is also known by the name Lady C. She was born as one among the four children of her parents Michael and Gloria Ziadie.

Due to the genital malformation which is a fused labia and deformed clitoris, Campbell was assumed to be male at her birth and was named as George William. Although her family life was otherwise happy, she has spoken as well as written of the struggles that she faced as being raised up as a boy when she was physically female. Her family was the prominent of Jamaica and they were descendents of the six Maronite Catholic brothers who got emigrated from the Lebanon in early 20th Century. Campbell’s mother was of English, Portuguese, Irish and Spanish descent and her maternal great grand-mother had been Sephardic Jew.

Later, she moved to the New York City and there, she went to get her education from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Until she was at the age of 21, she was not able to have a corrective surgery when her grand-mother discovered what had occurred as well as gave her $5000 that she needed. She then legally changed her name to Georgia Arianna and then also received a new birth certificate. She has stated that no one over faced the knife more eagerly than her. Prior to her surgery, she also started to work as a model in the New York City and she has been considered a great beauty.

Moving on to her personal life biography, Campbell is a married woman and has already got divorced. She was married to her husband Lord Colin Ivar Campbell who is the youngest son of eleventh Duke of Argyll. Just after knowing to each other for five days, they tied their knot on 23rd March of the year 1974. Later, their relationship quickly got soured and then she left him after just nine months of their marriage citing abusiveness as well as drug addiction. Later, they got divorced after fourteen months. Campbell is the proud mother of her two children whom she adopted in the year 1993. The children are both Russian boys named as Misha and Dima.
