An American sports and political commentator as well as a writer Keith Olbermann is known for being the host of a later afternoon show called Olbermann on ESPN2 and TSN2 from July 2013 till July 2015. He is the native of New York City, New York, United States of America. He came into this world on 27th January of the year 1959 which has now made him reach at the age of 57. Although he is known by the name Keith Olbermann, as a child, he was named as Keith Theodore Olbermann. He is the son of Theodore Olbermann and Marie Katherine. His father was a commercial architect whereas his mother was a pre-school teacher.

Keith is of German ancestry. His family members also include his younger sister named Jenna. He was grown up in Unitarian household in town of Hastings-on-Hudson in Westchester County. Keith began his professional career at the UPI and RKO Radio Network. After that, he joined the then-nascent NCC in 1981. During that period, he also won the Best Sportscaster Award from California Associated Press for three times. From 1992 till 1997, he was the co-host of SportsCenter that aired in ESPN. After that, he became a producer and anchor for the Fox Sports Net in 1998. Additionally, he was also the host for Fox Sports’coverage of Major League Baseball. He was also chief news officer of Current TV Network and host of Current TV weeknight political commentary program called Countdown with Keith Olbermann.

Keith Olbermann has never got married nor he has a wife. Previously, he was in relationship with his then girlfriend Katy Tur who is currently a NBC News reporter. The pair began dating with each other in June 2006 and they remained together till three years until they got separated in 2009. Prior to that, Keith suffers from the mild case of coeliac disease and restless legs syndrome. He also suffered from a head injury in August 1980 while leaping onto the New York City subway train.
