Josh Uretsky who is a national date director for the Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign has been fired after improperly accessing the proprietary data from Hillary Clinton Campaign in Democratic National Committee system. The Democratic National Committee has temporarily barred Sanders Campaign from accessing any of voter data, the Washington Post has reported.
According to the LinkedIn profile of him, Josh who has now reached at the age of 39 was hired by the Sanders Campaign in the month of September. He is the native of Philadelphia. He writes that his role is providing the support administer VAN for the campaign teams as well as to provide the data driven insight and strategy. While Josh was only staffer fired, The New York Times reports that the four user accounts from Sander campaign ran searches in system while the firewall blocking access to the Clinton’s data was down.
Josh has been involved in the Democratic Politics for several of the years. He had worked as a staffer on the Congressional Campaign of Patrick Murphy in the year 2006. After that, from 2007 till 2008, he was the grassroots leader for the 2008 Campaign in Philadelphia of Barack Obama serving as the co-chair of the Philadelphia for Obama. In addition to that, he has also worked on the local Pennsylvania campaigns as well as he was the Pennsylvania Data and Targeting Manager for the American Votes from 2011 till he was hired by Sanders campaign.
Josh went to get his education from the University of California-Berkeley and got graduated from there with the degree in the bioengineering in the year 1998 with the concentrations in the computer science as well as genetics.
