Jason Chaffetz is the current U.S. Representative for Utah's 3rd congressional district who was first elected in the year 2008. He is also the member of a Republican Party and the Chairman of the US House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Jason Chaffetz is the native of Los Gatos, California, United States of America. He was born on 26 March 1967. He was raised up in California, Arizona, and Colorado along with his younger brother named Alex. His parents are father John A. Chaffetz and mother Margaret A. Wood.

Chaffetz went to study at the high school located in California and Middle Park High School. After that, he attended the Brigham Young University on an athletic scholarship. There, he was the starting placekicker on BYU Football team in 1988 and 1989.

He later got graduated from BYU College of Fine Arts and Communication with a B.A. in Communications in 1989. He converted into Mormonism religion from Judaism during the last year of his college. After his college, he started to work in public relations for a multi-level marketing company called Nu Skin International for about a decade.

Jason Chaffetz met the love of his life in a wedding

Talking about his personal life biography, Chaffetz has already got married. He is currently married to his wife named Julie Marie Johnson with whom he first met at the wedding in Arizona. Jason was a senior and Julie Marie was a junior at the Brigham Young University.

In 2016, Jason was named to be the first Republican member of Congress who rejected the proposal for the endorsement program for Donald Trump for the presidential election. He stated 'I can't endorse somebody who acts and thinks like this.'
