Jared Thomas Goff is popularly known as American football quarterback for the California Golden Bears Football Team. He was born in the year 1994, 14 October. His bio includes following details.

He combined to throw 7,687 yards with 93 touchdowns along with 18 interceptions in three seasons at the Marin Catholic High school where he also completed 477 out of 767 passes which is 62.2% for the teams which collaborated to post a 39-4 overall record and 21-0 Marin County Athletic League on making their way to one appearance to the state title game. He made one appearance in the North Coast Section, three appearances in the NCS playoff and MCAL championship.

He got recruited by numerous college programs and also was granted with scholarship from Fresno State, Boise State and Stanford Cardinal football before he chose the Golden Bears He was a mid-year enrollee in the Cal for the year 2013 in the month of January and then started off with the team for the 2013 spring practice. He was listed as the starting quarterback for the 2013 season over redshirt freshman Zach Kline being the first freshman quarterback in the history of Cal to start as a season opener.

He started all 12 games in the year 2013 and though the team finished the game with 1-11, he set Cal with a single season record of 3,508 passing yards, 3,508 of highest yardage, 531 passes attempted, 3,446 of total offense. He showed a huge performance for his age and as a fresher in a match against Northwestern. Despite losing the match, the team played very well under his leadership. He completed the total season with 60.3 percentages with 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

In the year 2014, he again started quarterback and in the 27th September in a match against Colorado Buffalos, he threw a career-high seven touchdown passes and completed 24 out of 42 passes for the 458 yards and on October 4th he threw 527 yards and 5 touchdowns in a 60-59 victory over Washington State. He finished the season with 3,973 yards, 35 touchdowns and a 62% completion rate. 

As a junior in the year 2015, he led the team in a 7-5 regular season finish achieving his first win in the season since the year 2011. In 12 games, he surpassed his own records for passing yards of 4,252 backed up by a total offense of 4260. He was projected as the top quarterback for the NFL draft in 2016 by Mel Kiper and Todd McShay. He threw off 453 yards and six touchdowns in the year 2015 with a 54-24 victory over Oregon State where he earned Pac-12 Offensive player of the Week for the first time in his career. After two weeks he set a new record of 542 passing yards in a match against Arizona State and was awarded with Player of the week for the second time.
