Jake Hubenak is the third string quarterback who is slated to get the start for the Texas A&M on the night of Wednesday after spending majority of the season as Aggies third stringer. He is the former Oklahoma State walk-on as well as JUCO standout. Jake is used to winning. He was wrapped up in the high school career at the Georgetown with the 19-1 record and also recorded his only loss in Texas Class 4A Division I State Championship in the year 2012. The same year, he was named as the Central Texas Player of The Year and he was also the winner of the State’s Class 4A Player of the Year Award.
After his one season at the Oklahom State in the year 2013, he was transferred to the Blinn College. It was there where he truly found his footing as well as more importantly his arm. During his first game there, he led his team to 77-6 victory against the Southeast Prep completing 11 of 14 passes for the 186 yards and four touchdowns. He is the native of Texas and he has always been drawn to the Aggies.
