Harvey Levin was born on 2 September 1950 in Los Angeles, California; the United States of America. As an adult, his goal was to become a law professor. In 1972, he attended the University of California located in Santa Barbara and graduated with a BA in political science. Later, he earned a J.D. from the University of Chicago in 1972.
From 18 December 1975 till 1 January 1996, Levin became actively involved as an attorney in California State. He even worked as a teacher for the University of Miami School of Law. Whittier College School of Law was where he taught next. Before being the faculty member of this college he went to Los Angeles to practice law.
Later as Harvey Levin started getting involved in many public debate shows. He first grabbed the attention of people during a debate on California Proposition 13. The participation on debate shows gradually pushed him to conduct a radio show he has legal advice. He was then nicknamed 'Doctor Law'. Harvey also wrote columns for the Los Angeles Times.
Harvey Levin launched his career on television as a legal reporter at the KCBC-TV located in Los Angeles. After working for KCBC-TV, he then shifted to KCBS-TV. The murder trial of O.J.
