An American newspaper columnist as well as a political commentator George Will is a Pulitzer prize winner. He is mostly known for his conservative commentary on the politics. In addition to that, he was called as perhaps the Most Popular Journalist in American by The Wall Street Journal in a league with Walter Lippmann in 1986. He is the native of Champaign, Illinois, United States of America. He came into this world on 4th May of the year 1941 which has now made him reach at the age of 74. Will is the son of Frederick L. Will and Louise Hendrickson Will. His father was professor of philosophy specializing in epistemology at University of Illinois. He went to get his education from the University Laboratory High School of Urbana in Illinois and graduated from there. He also attended the Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and earned himself a B.A> in Religion in 1962. He also got enrolled at Magdalen College, Oxford and studied Philosophy, Economics and Politics. Additionally, he had also earned MA and PhD degrees in politics from the Princeton University.
From 1970 till 1972, Will had served on staff of Senator Gordon Allott. He then taught political philosophy at James Madison College of Michigan State University and at University of Toronto. He also taught at the Harvard University in 1995 and later again in 1998. From 1972 till 1978, Will used to serve for National Review as an editor. In 1974, he joined Washington Post Writers Group writing a syndicated biweekly column that became circulated among the newspapers across the country and it also continues today.
George was previously married to his then wife Madelin. After 22 years of their marriage, they got divorced in 1989 due to some personal issues. After that, he married to his second wife named Mari Maseng with whom he exchanged his vows in 1991 and since then, they are together and are living happy married life. George also has one child, a son named David with Mari whom his wife gave birth in 1992. He also has three other children with his first wife and they are named as Jonathan, Geoffrey and Victoria.
