Gbenga Akinnagbe who is an Nigerian American actor was born on 12thDecember of the year 1978. He is mostly known for portraying the role of Chris Partlow on HBO original series called The Wire. He is the native of Washington, D.C., United States. He was born to the Nigerian parents. He was raised up in Silver Spring, Maryland. Gbenga was born as the second oldest among the six children. His siblings include one elder sister and four younger brothers. He is the first one in his family who was born in the United States. He went to study at the Colonel Zadok A. Magruder High School that is located in Rockville, Maryland. He also attended the Bucknell University on the wrestling scholarship. From there, he got majored in the Political Science as well as English.
