Erin Brockvich who is an American legal clerk as well as an environment activist was born on 22nd June 1960. She is the native of Lawrence, Kansas, USA. She is the daughter of Frank Pattee and Arshia Jo O’Neal-Pattee. She attended the Lawrence High School and got graduated from there. After that, she went on to study at the Kansas State University located in Manhattan, Kansas. Later she joined the Wade College in Dallas, Texas. From there, she got graduated with an associate in applied arts degree. In the year 1981, she worked as management trainee for the Kmart. Few months after working there, she quit and entered a beauty pageant. The same year, she won the title of Miss Pacific Coast. Since 1982, she has been living in California.

To talk about her personal life, Erin is a married woman. She has married for three times and divorced twice. At first, she was married to Shawn Brown from 1982 till 1987. She has two children together with Shawn. After that, she got married to Steven Michael Brockovick on 2nd September of 1989. Due to some reason, she again got divorced with him on 30th April of 1990. Her wok in bringing litigaton against the Pacific Gas and Electric is focus of 2000 feature movie called Erin Brockvich which starred Julia Roberts in title role.
