Eric Nathan M. Kendricks is known across the globe as an American football linebacker; he was born in the year 1992, 29th February. He played college football a UCLA and as a senior in the year 2014, he also grabbed the Butkus Award as the nation’s top collegiate linebacker and also received an All Americans honors. He also got drafted by the Vikings in the second round of the 45th Overall 2015 NFL Draft.

His brother, whose name is Mychal plays for the team Philadelphia Eagles. His father had also led the team of Bruins in the year 1970 and 1971. Their whole family was devoted to this particular sport. His bio and stats include following details.

His mother’s name is Yvonne Thagon and his father’s name is Marvin Kendricks who was a former running back at UCLA who used to play for the Canadian Football Team professionally. He was brought up with his older brother and a younger sister whose name is Danielle.

Thagon was a single mother and all three of the children in the family was raised by her personal efforts because their father, Marvin was addicted to crack cocaine. Marvin cleaned himself up before Kendricks started his high school. He also married and took a job and arranged everything up with Thagon and started caring about the kid’s lives. He went to Herbert Hoover High school which was situated in the city of Fresno in the state of California where he earned three letters for the coach Plummer by playing linebacker, running backer, punter, kicker and even quarterback and as a team captain for his seasons in both junior and senior. He also had the chance to be teammates with his brother in the year 2007. In the year 2008, he was named as the first team all-league defense and was given with 85 tackled, 10 touchdown offense and 2 sacks as a junior.

In the year 2009, he registered 117 tackles and scored 14 touchdowns on offense as a senior. He was given the title of first-team All-League defense by Fresno Bee for his efforts during his senior years. He got named as the Tri-Athlete of the year in his school years as he also was the team captain of the basketball team.

He had led a team in tackles the second season backed up with 105 tackles and was ranked as the third one in the Pac-12  with a tackle average of 8.8 per game mark. He also was an honorable mention of the All-conference academic team. He also was awarded N.N. Sugarman Award for his outstanding Leadership in the defense and also awards like UCLA Captains Award and Bruin Force Award in a team banquet.

He entered his senior season in the year 2014 as a beginner in the third year. He also led the Football Bowl Subdivision backed up with tackles of 149 with a record of 481 tackles, which was first in the name of Jerry Robinso with 468 tackles.

He was named as the most defensive valuable player after he exhibited a phenomenal tackle of 10 which included 3 tackles for loss during the game against Kansas State held in the Alamo Bowl. He also won the Butkus Award which is given annually to the linebacker in the college football for the season.
