Personal Life

Donald Glover was born on 25 September 1983 in Edwards Air Force Base, California, the United States of America. As his family moved to Georgia, he spends his childhood in Stone Mountain of Georgia. Both of his parents worked, father Donald Sr. as a postal worker and mother Beverly as a daycare provider. Donald Glover has a height of 5.9 feet and a cool hair style. 

Donald was brought up as a Jehovah's Witness. He went to DeKalb School of the Arts and received votes for 'Most Likely to Write for The Simpsons' in his high school yearbook. As he was very much interested in arts he got his degree in dramatic writing from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2006.

His brother Stephen is also involved in the same field of writing he does for Atlanta. Talking about his girlfriend or dating life, Donald Glover is a married man and has a child from his wife and his baby was born in early 2016. This news was only revealed in January 2017's Golden Globe Awards. 

Professional life

Donald Glover started his career in 2002 however his real break came when he was contacted by David Miner in 2006 for the script he wrote for 'The Simpsons'. Then he became the writer of the NBC series 30 Rock. He wrote for the 30 Rock for almost three years.

Donald Glover in 2008 released a solo album Sick Boi which was the music debut of him consisting of some cool songs. Later he also became the member of the Derrick Comedy a sketch comedy group. Being the member of the group he appeared in many of its YouTube videos since 2006 along with other members.

In 2009, NBC produced next comedy series Community, Donald Glover worked for the character Tory Barnes. He gained a huge popularity after this series however he left the series in the fifth season. Donald also released his second independent album Poindexter in 2009. He was also very much encouraged to play the role of Peter Parker and many tweeted the hashtag '#donald4spiderman'. He later voiced the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series.

Donald also hosted the MTVU Woodie Awards and has taped an hour-long comedy special Weirdo for Comedy Central. On July 25, 2011, he announced that he will be releasing his new album 'Camp'. He also did Rock The Bells concert in Los Angeles on 20 August 2011 and also signed with Glassnote Records and released his first single Bonfire.

In the year 2013, he signed to create a music-themed show Atlanta for FX where he stars, write and is also an executive producer. Donald Glover received 'Writers Guild of America Awards' for the 30 Rock series being the best comic series in February 2009.
