An American TV journalist David Gregory is also the former moderator of the NBC News ‘Sunday morning talk show known as Meet the Press. He is the native of Los Angeles, California, United States of America. He came into this world on 24th August of the year 1970 which has now made him reach at the age of 45. Although he is known by the name David Gregory, as a child, he was named as David Michael Gregory. He is the son of Don Gregory and Carolyn Surtees. His father was a film and theatrical producer whereas his mother was an account manager. She was born to Jewish father and a non-Jewish mother. He was raised up as Jewish and he is practicing Jew today.
David went to get his education from the American University from where he got graduated in 1992. While his tenure there, he also used to work for the campus TV station ATV- American University Television. He also got enrolled at the School of International Service and from there; he received a degree in International Studies. It was reported by the Washington Post that the NBC hired a psychological consultant to assess Mr. Gregory. Later, NBC announced on 14th August 2014 that David would leave the network with his hosting duties assumed by Chuck Todd.
David is married to his wife named Beth Wilkinson who is a former Federal Prosecutor as well as a former Fannie Mae Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. The pair first met with each other while David was covering Oklahoma City bombing as reporter and Beth was serving as the prosecutor on that case. Later, the couple exchanged their vows in June of 2000 and since then; they are together and are living their happy married life. He also has three children with Beth whom they have named as Max, and twins Ava and Jed. He is sometime misunderstood as David Gregory, the author.
