Daniel Ojbami is known across the globe as a Kenyan athlete who was born in the year 1989, 12th October, currelntly 26 years of age. He moved out to South Africa to join the Shark's rugby academy in the year 2007 and also played professional rugby in South Africa and New Zealand in between the year 2011 and 2013.
He then got converted to the American Football by joining the Indiana metropolis Colts were he played as an outside linebacker till the year 2015. He either plays a flanker or a lock as a rugby player. He also played Super Rugby League representing Super Rugby for the Southern Kings in the year 2013. His bio includes the following details.
When he played for Strathmore School at his times in Kenya, he was crowned with the award of "Sportman Of The Year". He then joined Kenya Harlequins in the junior teams. His game play was seen by the South African Scouts in the year 2006 when he was playing for the Strathmore School. In the year 2007, he went to Natal Sharks Academy and ultimately progressed from under 19 to fewer than 21 in the year 2010.
He also was included in the Sharks XV squad in the year 2010, the time when Vodaom Cup was held, but he could not play any games. He played in 12 matches later as a squad member of under 21 and was once again included for Vodacom Competition in the year 2011. He made his debut in the opening season of the match by a 30-19 victory over the Blue Hills and achieved a total of 10 appearances in that competition. He also was included in the Natal Sharks squad for the year 2011 but failed to get featured in that competition.
During the end of the year 2011. he was signed by the Blue Bulls and for Blue Bulls, he made a total of 8 appearances but he then was released from the contract so that he could join New Zealand ITM Cup team Counties just after 6 months of recruitment.
At an international level, he has already played for Kenya under 18 and 21 teams at national level He had declared that he was available for Kenya even though he had opined that he had a string desire to play for South Africa for the Rugby World cup that was to be held on the year 2015 in the qualifying series.
In the year 2013, Indiana metropolis Colts of NFL announced that they signed Adongo as an outside linebacker overseeing the fact that he did not possess American football experience. After he spent his time as a member of Colts' practice squad, Adongo was added in the mainstream in the year 2013, 3rd December. He made a total appearances of 2 games but failed to record any tackles.
In the year 2014, he also got a biceps injury and consequently got waived by the Colts the next day. He reverted to the Indiana metropolis Colts' injured reverse after he cleared the waivers. In the year 2015, 5th September, he got waived and was signed to the practice squad and he was elevated to the active roster on 12th November but again got waived in the year 2015, 17th December.
