William Christopher "Dabo" Swinney, is known around the globe as an American football coach and a former player as well. He was born on 20th November in the year 1969 which makes him forty six years of age. He currently coaches as a head coach at Clemson. He was given with the title of head coach as a replacement for Tommy Bowden starting from the year 2008. He currently earns over three million as his salary US Dollars in a single year. He is also famous for his dancing skills. He is six feet and 2 inches in height.
Regarding his childhood, he was born and raised in the city of Pelham In Alabama. He attended University Of Alabama where in time, he joined the Criimson Tide Football feat only as “Walk-on wide receiver” in the year 1969. Over the course of time, he also earned a scholarship which included Crimson Tide’s 1992 National Championship Team. When he was an undergraduate, he was named as an Academic All Sec And SEC scholar Athlete Honor Roll Member. HE was also awarded with a degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the state Of Alabama in the year 1995.
In the month of December in the year 1995, he was awarded with MBA from Alabama but in the meantime, he puesued his career as a football coach and became a full-time assistant coach for the Crimson Tide but was fired along with the head coach Mike DuBose’s subordinates in the year of 2001.
He sat out of the season of 2001 as he was about to receive his contractual payments from Alabama. Rich WIngo, who was his former strength coach had become president of the Birmingham based AIG Baker Real Estate and he was offered with a job which he readily accepted and starting from April 2001 till the February of the year 2003, he worker for the Real Estate Company instead of Coaching.
In the year 2002, Tommy Bowden, his former coach at Alabama made an offer in favor of Swinney to become an assistant coach for the wide receivers at Clemson and he accepted the offer on the spot. Swinney took over the. He proved his worth as a phenomenal wide receivers coach and as a recruiting co-ordinator which led the furious fleet of receivers and named them as one of the nation’s top 25 recruiters in the 2007 as said by Rivals.com.
