Cole Hammer who is a golf player has become a third youngest golf player in the history who got qualified for the U.S. Open tournament. While playing at the Northwood Club in Dallas, Cole went up against the field of 78 players during the sectional qualifying knowing that he had to finish in top six for making the U.S. Open. Hammer is the son of his parents Gregg and Allison. Both of his parents have won the multiple club championships at the home course in the Houston.
When Cole tees off Thursday, he will be fifteen years, nine months and twenty days. Only the two players in 115 years of the history of the tournament have done so at the younger age who include Tadd Fujikawa in 2006 and Andy Zhang in the year 2012. Tadd shot a 81 and 77 and finished ahead of 16 players whereas Chang shot 79 and 78 and finished ahead of the nine players. Additionally, he had also assumed a coveted title of Golfer with the coolest name.
Cole had just finished the sophomore year from the Kinkaid High School that is located in Houston. He was known as his college choice since he was in eighth grade. He verbally committed to the Texas in December of the year 2013 which is one of the top ranked programs in nation. When Cole was asked about having his father as his caddie, he said that it means the world to him especially on the Father’s Day.
Apart from that, Cole has now reached at the age of 15. He is good looking as well as hot. He stands tall at height of five feet and nine inches.
