Cody Garbrandt

Garbrandt started boxing since he was 15 years old. He was trained by his uncle who was an Olympic Alternate in the sport. He went to study at the Claymont High School where he competed in wrestling. As a freshman, he had also won a state championship in 2007 and he was also a runner-up in 2008. In 2010, he was a Senior National All-American but ultimately, he turned his focus on boxing over wrestling. Garbrandt competed in an Amateur MMA Record of 6-2 before he made his professional debut in 2012. He compiled the record of 7-0 finishing six of his opponents via strikes. He also moved to Sacramento, California from Ohio to get trained at the Team Alpha Male in attempt to further the career as well as to enhance his skills. Later, he made his promotional debut on 3rd January of 2015 against Marcus Brimage at UFC 182 which he won via TKO in third round. Recently, he defeated his fellow Thomas Almeida on 29th May of 2016 at the UFC Fight Night 88.
