A Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman Clayton Stoner is currently playing for Anaheim Ducks team of National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted in 3rd round, 79th overall by Minnesota Wild at 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Clayton played the junior B for Campbell River Storm as well as junior A for Powell River Kings.
After that, he played in Western Hockey League (WHL) for Tri-City Americans from the 2003-04 till 2004-05 seasons. Apart from the beginning of latter playing season on 26th June of the year 2004, Clayton was drafted by Minnesota Wild with 79th pick of 2004 NFL Entry Draft.
At the beginning of his professional career, Stoner played with an American Hockey League affiliate of Wild, The Houston Aeros. There, he played for the four and a half seasons.
