Chris Wragge who is an American News Anchor was born on 19th June 1970. He is the native of Hackensack, New Jersey, US. As a child, he was named as Christian P. Wragge. He was raised up in Rutherford. Chris attended the Mahwah High School located in Mahwah, New Jersey. There, he was an athlete. He then went on to join University of the New Hampshire after earning a football scholarship there. Wragge earned the Three Varsity Letters and got graduated with bachelor of arts degree in the communications a year earlier for pursuing his career in professional sports casting. He makes good salary in the world of anchoring.

He then joined the WMUR-TV located in Manchester, New Hampshire and served as a sports reporter. There, he made his first television appearance as a part of 48 Hours expose on the NBA Spring Break 1991. After that, became an anchor for nightly sportscasts on the WVIT-TV which is an affiliate of NBC in Hartford, Connecticut. He had also worked as a reporter for the NBC Sports which also includes NBA, WMBA, The Gator Ball, The Sun America Sports desk, Notre Dame Football as well as the Olympics. He then moved to NBC Sports in the year 1998 and began to work as a Sports Director and an anchor of nightly sportscasts on the News2 Houston on the KPRC-TV located in Houston, Texas. 

He was the behind-the-chutes reporter in 2003 and 2004 for Built Ford Tough Series of PBR during the telecasts of NBC and during couple of the events which was served as play-by-play announcer in the absence of George Michael. He joined the WCBS-TV in 2004 as a lead sports anchor after the broadcast legend Warner Wolf got fired abruptly. After couple of years in 6th November 2006, Chris began to serve as a news anchor for the CBS2 News at noon as well as CBS News at 5PM along with Kristine Johnson. They replaced Mary Calvi and Roz Abrams.

Later, in 3rd January 2011, he became a lead weekday anchor for the CBS News’s The Early Show along with Erica Hill. When he was told of the impending changes to CBS Morning Program on September of 2011, he again returned to WCBS where he replaced Don Dahler as a co-anchor for WCBS-TV in New York. Chris along with Tyler, both became the co-anchors of the WLNY-TV in July of 2012. While working in NBC Sports as well as KPRC, he joined the USA Sports in December of the year 2000 as their on-site correspondent for the PGA Tour Sunday, PGA Tour’s leading broadcast partner. In addition to that, he also served as a presenter of Ask DIY, HGTV and Travel Channel.

To talk about his personal life, Wragge has already got married. He dated and married with Victoria Silvstedt who is a Swedish model, actress as well as the former Playboy Playmate of the Year. The couple exchanged their vows in the month of June in 2000 at the Tuxedo Park Country in Tuxedo, New York. Six years after their marriage, Chris and Victoria threatened the legal action against the Sky News for the slander, after pictures of Victoria in Sardinia with the other man made their way onto internet.

Later, the Sky News removed the page. They got separated in 2007 but they have not divorced yet. It was also reported that, he was in relationship with Alycia Lane. Apart from that, Chris was a recipient of 2002 associated press “Best Sportscast” Award for Houston area.
