An American football wide receiver for Seattle Seahawks in NFL Chris Matthews has played the college football for the Los Angeles Harbor College as well as the University of Kentucky. In addition to that, he has also played for Winnipeg Blue Bombers of Canadian Football league. He was undrafted out of the college and was signed with Cleveland Browns. Later, the Browns cut Matthews and then he played for the Winnpeg winning the Most Outstanding Rookie Award of CFL in the first season. But, he was limited by the injuries in the second year. After he was released by the Bombers for pursuing NFL opportunities, he received the offer to try out with the Seahawks. During 2014-15 NFL playoffs, he recovered the onside kick during National Football Conference Championship Game and them made his first career receptions in the Super Bowl XLIX.

Chris went to get his education from the Susan Miller Dorsey High School located in the Los Angeles, California and he played the American football for the team of school as tight end as well as a defensive end. Chris then intended to enroll at University of California, Los Angeles for playing the college football for UCLA Bruins football team. But later, he was academically ineligible to play for the school in Division I of National Collegiate Athletic Association. He also attended the Los Angeles Harbor College, a junior college for playing the football. There, he became the wide receiver. In the year 2009, he was transferred to University of Kentucky for playing for Kentucky Wildcats Football Team for the junior year. That year, he caught 32 passes for the 354 yards with the three touchdowns.

Later, Matthews was undrafted in 2011 NFL Draft. He was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent. during final cuts at end of the training camp, he was released. He also played for Iowa Barnstormers of Arena Football League in the year 2012. He then signed with Wiinnipeg Blue Bombers of Canadian Football League for 2012 season. In the rookie year, Chris played in all the 18 games of regular season and compiled 1192 yards on 81 receptions with the seven touchdowns en route for winning 2012 CFL’s Most Outstanding Rookie Award. at present, he has been playing with the Seattle Seahawks. he is a good player and is earning a good amout of salary.
