Cenk Uygur who is a Turkish American columnist, activist as well as a political commentator was born on 21st March of the year 1970. He is a main host and the co-founder of American liberal/progressive political and the social internet commentary program called The Young Turks. In addition to that, he is also a co-founder of associated TYT Network. He is the native of Istanbul, Turkey. He was raised up in Sunni Muslim family but he now self described himself as Fervent agnostic.

He spent his adolescence in the East Brunswick, New Jersey where he attended and got education from the East Brunswick High School and got graduated from there. He then went on to join Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania from where he majored in management. In addition to that, he also received a law degree from the Columbia Law School.

MSNBC announced on 21st October of 2010 that Cenk had officially been hired as contributor as well as substitute anchor for the network. In addition to that, he had also made his appearance on numbers of occasion on the MSNBC, ABC News, Voice of America, Al Jazeera English, E! Entertainment Television, Fox News Channel, RT, and NPR. He was also regular host on the TV show The Dylan Ratigan Show. Besides that, he also hosted “Good Day L.A.” in March of 2012.

To talk about his personal life biography, Uygur has already got married. He is married to his wife Wendy Lang Uygur who is a marriage and family therapist. The couple is also the proud parents of two children, among whom one is a son born in July of 2010 and another daughter born in October of 2012.
