A former reporter for the KDAF which is the CW affiliate in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas Candice Crawford is widely known for being the wife of Tony Romo. She is also a former American Beauty Queen. She has participated as well as won the Miss Missouri USA competition in the year 2008. In addition to that, she also competed in Miss USA pageant in which she was placed in the Top Ten.
During her career, Candice has competed in Miss Texas Tee USA in 2003 as well as 2005 pageants. She was then placed as third runner-up in both the competitions. After that, she participated in Miss Missouri USA 2007 pageant in November of 2006 and in that competition, she was placed first runner up to Amber Seyer.
Later the following year, she again competed and this time, she became the winner of 2008 title as well as the Special Achievement recognition in Swimsuit category. She then represented the Missouri in Miss USA 2008 pageant that was held n Las Vegas, Nevada in April of the year 2008.
In that pageant, she finished at 6th position missing Top 5 by only one third of a point. Prior to that, Candice used to work for the KDAF as the reporter of 33TV covering the high school sports as well as Up All Night segment about the nightlife hot spots in the Dallas-Fort Worth mostly drinking establishments and co-hosts the RC Projects along with Rani Proter about latest trends. In addition to that, she was also the host of Dallas Cowboy’s weekend sports show known as Special Edition.
Moving on to her personal life biography, Candice came into this world on 16th December of the year 1986 which has now made her at the age of 28. She is the native of Lubbock, Texas, United States. She is also the younger sister of Chace Crawford. She went to get her education from the Trinity Christian Academy located in Addison, Texas and got graduated from there in the year 2005.
After completing her high school she attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri from where she studied journalism and business. During that time, she started working with a local NBC affiliate KOMU-TV as their reporter. While she was still in college, she also used to work for Dallas, Texas CBS affiliate KTVT as reporter where she covered Dallas Cowboys on CBS show called The Blitz.
Apart from that, Candice was also active member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She is a tall lady with height of 5 feet and 8 inches. She started dating her future husband Tony Romo in summer of 2009. The following year on 16th December, the KDAF Dallas-Ford Worth, Texas announced that she has already got engaged with Romo.
Later, they got married to each other on 28th May of the year 2011 and since then, they are living a happy life. Additionally, Candice also has two children together with Tony. She gave birth to their first child on 9th April 2012 and named him as Hawkins Crawford Romo and their second child named Rivers Romo was born on 18th March of 2014.
