Candace Helanie Cameron Bure was born on April 6, 1976 to Robert Cameron and Barbara Bausmith Cameron. She is the Younger Sister of Kirk Cameron, an actor renowned for his role on the sitcom Growing Pains. She is an American actress, producer and an author. She is most famously known for her role of D.J Tanner on the revered Television Series Full House.
She started in the entertainment business through television commercials after which she guest starred in roles on shows like Alice, Growing pains and who’s the boss. However her most defining breakthrough came when she landed a prominent role on the Television show full house. She starred in the role of Donna Jo D.J Tanner, the eldest of three children.
