Carol Christine Hilaria Ounder who is professionally known as C. C. H. Pounder is Guyanese born American TV as well as film actress. She has made her appearance in numbers of the movies, made-for-TV films, TV mini-series as well as plays and she has also made her guest appearance on the notable TV shows.

 She has been active in this field since the year 1979 and from that time, she has garnered a lot of popularity as well as huge numbers of fans following. She starred in FX police drama called The Shield as Detective Claudette Wyms from 2002 till 2008. After that, she appeared in James Cameron’s movie known as Avatar in 2009 as Moát. She is the daughter of Ronald Urlington Pounder and Betsy Enid James. She went to get her education from the England and then moved to United States where she got enrolled at the Ithaca College.
