During 1990s, he was the most popular child actor. He is mostly known for playing as Our Gang Kid Alfalfa Switzer in a 1994 movie known as The Little Rascals.

He along with five other cast members in the Little Rascals had won the Young Artist Award for the Best performance by Youth Ensemble in Motion Picture. After that, he made his appearance in The Stupid of John Landis and a soccer comedy called The Big Green.

In 1996, Hall won the nomination for Young Star Award for the Best Performance by Young Actor in Made For TV Movie for his work in Fox telefilm known as The Munster’s Scary Little Christmas as Eddie Munster. In addition to that, in 1997, Hall has also voiced as a boy in Disney’s Hercules. the next year, he portrayed as the lead character as Scout Bozell in a movie named Safety Patrol.

He had also starred as Adam Szalinski in the movie of Disney entitled as Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves. Since then, Hall has continued to made his appearances in the movies and TV shows as teenager and young adult. Prior to that, Hall was in direct to DVD movie called Skipped Parts which was released in 2000 along with Mischa Barton. He also appeared in the 2002 Disney Channel’s Original movie titled as Get A Clue which also starred Brenda Song and Lindsay Lohan.
