Personal and Family Life
Brooke Ayers was born on January 1, 1968, in Mississippi, United States. He might want to keep his private life miles away from media which might be the big reason for his silence on early childhood and his parents. He is emotionally attached to Mississippi State as he spent his entire life here and during this time period, he collected some unforgettable memories. For his academic education, Ayers attended Mississippi State University from where he graduated in 1989.
Ayers was the new sensation among Hollywood gossip mongers after his relationship with Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson circulated in the media. The couple reportedly met during an insurance and investment conference in Atlanta in May 2007. But their relationship was literally disliked by Gunvalson friends and family members and even her children Briana and Michael were against it. Especially Briana thought that he was a bad life partner for mommy Vicki and it was justified after all he was caught on the tape drunkenly saying the upsetting things about the daughter of Vicki Briana Culberson. In an interview to ET, Culberson claimed that Brooks hit on her while she was pregnant.
He is also a man of controversy, prior to his affair with Vicki; Brooks was apparently married to two more women. As per the reports of Radar Online he was reportedly arrested twice in Alabama and Mississippi for failing to compensate the supporting alimony to ex-wife Kim. He is the father of two kids Joey Ayers and Reagan Ayers. He was also taken to the court on the charges of owing over $40,000 in the back child support.
In 2013, Ayers was diagnosed with cancer which was a stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. However, in 2015 he was suspected of faking the cancer diagnosis when he didn’t appear at City of Hope in Duarte, California for the treatment of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. As per the report of E! News, he did confess that he had purposely fixed all the chemo bills trying to prove that he has cancer but he too insisted that he seriously does have cancer. In addition to that, he reported that if he hadn’t let makers of the show use his cancer as a storyline for season 10 then Vicki’s role would be scaled back.
Vicki was an entrepreneur and her father owned a construction company. Prior to her relationship with Brooke, she was married to two other men. Her first husband was Michael J. Wolfsmith with whom she has two kids. After her divorce with husband Wolfsmith, she was remarried to Donn Gunvalson in 1994. There were also rumors on the air that Vicki was still an official wife of husband Gunvalson when she started dating Brooks. However, both the stars have been denying the rumors. It is also said that Brooks is still married to his wife Kim but fathered an illegitimate child with a lady named Nicolette Catanzarite.
The couple broke up their four years long relationship after he cheated her with a fake cancer diagnosis. But what was more surprising that Gunvalson was very straight and didn't hesitate to tell that she doesn’t like Brooke anymore in her talk with Andy Cohen on ‘Watch What Happens Live’. In response to it, Ayers told US Weekly that he doesn’t care what Vicki Gunvalson thinks as he has moved on in his life.
