The gorgeous Brianna Keilar is a native of Australia. She came into this world on the 21st of September in 1980. She grew up in Orange County, California and went to get her education from the Mission Viejo High School.
Keilar graduated from the school in 1998 but while she was in the school, she was voted as the homecoming queen during her senior year. After that, she enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley and graduated in 2001 by receiving a dual Bachelor’s degree in the Mass Communications as well as Psychology. While she was in college, she admitted herself into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. In addition to that, she also spoke at the commencement ceremony for the Cal’s Class in 2013.
Keilar shares her marital life with Dave French. The couple had tied the knot on the 2nd of May in 2009 and is living a blissful life. They have not separated or divorced yet.
Brianna Keilar: Professional Life, Career
Brianna Keilar used to work as the national correspondent at CNN Newsource. At the beginning of her career, she started from television news as an intern and a production assistant at the KTVU Channel 2 stationed at Oakland, California.
In 2001, she went on to serve as the general assignment reporter at KIMA-TV which is the CBS affiliate at Yakima, Washington. During the same time, she also used to work on the radio as morning show personality on the Billy, Blue, and Brianna, Too: The Morning Zoo on the 107.3 KFFM.
Later in 2003, Keilar shifted to New York to become an anchor, reporter as well as a producer for CBS News on mtvU, which was the newscast that aired on the college network of MTV. During her tenure there, she covered the 2004 Presidential Primaries as well as the election from New Hampshire, Boston, and New York. In addition to that, she also covered 2005 NFL Draft for the mtvU.
She also filled in as an anchor of CBS News’ overnight newscast called Up to the Middle for the first time and at that time, she was only 23 years old. Apart from that, Keilar was also a freelance reporter for the CBS Evening News Weekend Edition before she made her move to the CNN.
While she was covering the Congress, she earned the 2009 National Press Foundation Everett McKinley Dirksen Award for the Distinguished Reporting of the Congress for the fall 2008 coverage of $700 billion bank bailout. As a General Assignment Correspondent for the network, Brianna also covered a wide range of the stories which also includes the 2007 Virginia Tech Massacre where she was first CNN correspondent on the ground.
