Bre Ladd is an American Volleyball player. She has attended some high-class tournament as a player for her high school team. She is married to husband Luke Walton who coincidentally happened to be on the sports field. Former Los Angeles Lakers player, Luke is the current head coach for the same team.

Personal and Family Life

Bre Ladd was born on April 19, 1984, in Tucson, Arizona, US, to Bob Ladd and Tammie Ladd. Bre Ladd grew up along with her older brother Josh Ladd in Arizona with a height of 6 feet, she surely couldn’t have missed being an athlete.

Ladd studied at Canyon Del Oro High School till she graduated. After graduation, she attended the University of Arizona from where she graduated with a major in public health and community. She largely believed in serving the needy ones and took one step closer to it by using her talent in sign language to mentor stone-deaf students at Arizona School.

Ladd is married to basketball star Luke Walton. Luke was the reliable player for Los Angeles Lakers. With such an experience in basketball, former Laker, Luke was announced as head coach for the same team on April 29, 2016. The couple first met each other at the University of Arizona in 2002. Having a career in sports, the couple had a certain sparkle between them but it didn’t blow up until they started dating in 2005. On 2006, Christmas Eve, Luke uniquely proposed Ladd by putting her engagement ring box inside a big box and let her assumed something big like earrings. She was shocked and overjoyed to see a beautiful ring in the box. But with such a heavy commitment and professional duty, they were struggling with the wedding dates.

On August 17, 2013, the couple tied the knot in presence of 225 guests at The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado. In a bridal wear and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, Ladd looked absolutely gorgeous and similar was at the other end. Luke who wore Tom James custom suit stood really well and handsome.

 

Career and Professional Life

Ladd was keenly interested in volleyball since her time in high school. She played really well and showcased her best in every match. As a reward for her outstanding performance, she was honored with Gatorade National High School Player of the Year as well as Tucson Citizen and Arizona State Player of the Year in 2001. In that same year, she took over the captaincy for her high school team. She along with her Arizona mates Jennifer Abernathy and Kim Glass became the member of US Junior National Team in 2001. She was also on the team to fight for the trophy of Women’s Junior World Championships.

Ladd fabulous performance earned her the first place in Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 for 2002. For four years she played for Club Cactus in Tucson which definitely helped to blossom her professional career. She was also a four-year varsity player at the University of Arizona.
