An American actor Andrew Shue is widely known for portraying his role as Billy Campbell on a TV series known as Melrose Place from 1992 till 1998. In addition to that, Andrew is also on The Board of Directors for Do Something which he co-founded and he is also the co-founder of a social networking website CafeMom. He is the native of Wilmington, Delaware. He came into this world on 20th February of the year 1967 which has now made him reach at the age of 48. Although he is known by the name Andrew Shue, as a child, he was named as Andrew Eppley Shue.
Andrew is the son of late James W. Shue and wife Anne Brewster. His mother is a bank executive and was a vice president of a private division of Chemical bank Corporation whereas his father was a lawyer and a real estate developer who was a president of International Food and Beverage Corporation and he was also active in the Republican politics having once successfully run for US Congress in New Jersey. Shue went to get his education from the Columbia High School located in Maplewood, New Jersey. He is also the sister of an actress Elisabeth Shue. He and his sister was inducted into CHS Gall of Fame in 1994.
In addition to that, Andrew also got enrolled at the Dartmouth College. While there, as he was in the high school, he was a Regional All-America soccer player and he spent a winter studying as well as playing soccer in Glasgow, Scotland for the Queen’s Park FC. Later, she receives a B.A. in history in 1989 from Dartmouth. After completing his graduation, he visited Zimbabwe where he simultaniously played soccer and also taught high school math.
It was in 1992 when he was cast for playing the role of Billy Campbell on Aaron Spelling soap opera called Melrose Place. He starred opposite to Courtney Thorne-Smith whom he later dated. He then stayed with the show for six years. During that time, he also made his appearance as wife beater in Francis Ford Coppola movie The Rainmaker starring Claire Danes and Matt Damon. After that, a 1996 commercial for the SportsCenter on ESPN has him being traded for former Sports Center anchor Charlie Steiner where Charlie takes his position on Melrose Place and then Shue takes his on the SportsCenter.
Andrew has married twice and divorced once. At first, he was married to his then wife named Jennifer Hageney who is a floral designer. They got married in 1994 and they remained together till they got divorced in 2008. He also has three children, all sons together with Jennifer whom they named as Nate, Aidan and Wyatt. After that, he got remarried to his second wife named Amy Robach with whom he is currently living a happy life. The pair met in April 2009 and later, they exchanged their vows with each other on 6th February 2010 at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers.
