An Irish film, TV, as well as a stage actor Andrew Scott is widely known for portraying the roles of Jim Moriarty in a BBC series know as Sherlock along with the featuring in 2015 James Bond film called Spectre. He is also lauded for his extensive stage work at several of the theatres. Andrew has been active in this field since the year 1994 and from that time, he has garnered a huge numbers of fans following and a lot of popularity. A native of Dublin, Ireland, Andrew Scott came into this world on 21st October of the year 1976 which has now made him at the age of 39. His mother was an art teacher whereas his father used to work in an employment agency. He went to get his education from the Gonzaga College which is a private Jesuit Catholic School located on south side of Dublin. In addition to that, Scott also took the Saturday classes at drama school for the children and he also made his appearance in the two ads on Irish TV. When Scott was 17 years old, he was chosen for starring role in the first film called Korea. He then won a bursary to the art school but was elected to study the drama at the Trinity College, Dublin. He then left the college after six months for joining Dublin’s Abbey Theatre.

Moving on to his personal life biography, Scott is a gay and he has commented that mercifully these days, people do not see being gay as the character flaw. He stands at the height of 1.73 m.
