Alexandra Shipp

Alexandra Shipp was born on 16th July of the year 1991. She was raised up in Phoenix, Arizona. About her parents, her father is of black and of African-American ethnicity whereas her mother is of white and European ethnicity.

Ship used to act in the plays from the time of her childhood. She met her manager when she was at the age of 14. Her very first audition was for the Nickelodeon.

Ship moved to the Los Angeles when she was at the age of 17 for pursuing her career in acting. She then appeared in the films Alvin and The Chipmunks: the squeakquel as Valentina in 2009. Her other filmography includes Drumline: a new beat in 2014 and Aaliyah: the princess of R&B in the same year.

In addition to that, she has also been filming the movie titled Straight Outta Compton in which she will play the role of Kim. Besides that, she has also been announced for playing in the 2016 film X-Men: Apocalypse.

Prior to that, she has also made her appearance in the TV series such as Switched at Birth, Victorious, House of Anubis, Awkward, Ray Donovan, Days of Our Lives, and Occult. She has also been cast as Lucy in the upcoming TBS series Your Family or mine. Additionally, she also loves singing and she is a singer as well. Her songs include Gipsy, Could Be, Damaged Goods, It’s Okay, Am I Yours, Gone and any more.
