An American actor as well as a singer, Aaron Tveit is widely known for portraying the characters as Gabe in Next to Normal and Frank Abagnale jr. in the stage version of Catch Me If You Can on Broadway.
He is also known for the recurring roles as Tripp van der Bilt on the CW’s teen drama series called Gossip Girl and for the portrayal of Enjolras in 2012 film adaptation of Les Miserables. Aaron Tveit is the native of Middletown, New York, United States. He came into this world on 21st October of 1983 which has now made him reach the age of 32. Although he is known by the name Aaron Tveit, as a child, he was named as Aaron Kyle Tveit.
He is the son of Stanley Tveit and Posie Tveit. He went to get his education from the Middletown High School and got graduated from there in 2001. After a couple of years joining the Ithaca college, he left for joining the national tour of Rent as Stave and also covering Roger/Mark. After Rent, he was cast as Link Larkin in the first national tour of Hairspray. Later in 2012, he got graduated from Ithaca College.
In 2006, he was provided with the Broadway debut by the role of Link Larkin. The next year, he played D’Artagnan in a musical adaptation of the Three Musketeers which was played at North Shore Music Theatre from August to September.
In July of 2007, he played Matt in Barrington Stage Company’s Calvin Berger. Next year, he starred Gabe in the Off-Broadway production of a musical Next to Normal that ran from 16th January through 16th March at Second Stage Theatre. In addition to that, he also received the nomination for Lucille Lortel award for outstanding featured Actor for that role.
After that, Aaron played Dean on a musical version of a movie known as Saved! that ran for a limited engagement at the Playwrights Horizons in June of 2008. Additionally, he has played in numbers of movies, TV shows and theater productions which also include Howl, Undrafted, Body of Proof, Ugly Betty, Gossip Girl, The Good Wife, A Dream of Flying, Big Sky, Next to Normal, Wicked, Assassins, and much more.
